Well we have returned from the NRA Carry Guard Expo in Milwaukee. We had a great time and met lots of great people at the event. We were situated in Booth 1107 right next to the guys from "Your Target" and Kel-Tec.
We brought all of our standard holsters, including all of our Inside and Outside the Waistband Holsters. One of the highlights of the event was the Fashion Show Event held on Friday Night. We featured two of our holsters in the event, concealed and displayed by Wicked Holsters team member Marie Jarvis.
Marie modeled the Standard Wicked Holsters IWB Holster with the UltiClip and the new Wicked Holsters Hybrid. Both Holsters were molded for the SIG P238. There were both male and female models from other vendors at the NRA Carry Guard Expo and it was truly a fun experience. There was a meet and greet after the event and we spoke with several people about our holsters. The new Hybrid holster received lots of attention and Marie did an awesome job speaking with everyone who had any questions about any of the products she was modeling during the event. |
| Another great honor was being able to spend a few minutes with a true American Hero Mark "OZ" Geist. Mark was at the event signing copies of his book "13 Hours. The book depicts the events that happened in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. Mark couldn't have been more humble about his experiences and it was truly the highlight of the whole Expo for the whole Wicked Holsters Crew. Thanks for stopping by Brother. Josh can't wait to make your holster. |

Another highlight of the Expo was meeting up with the whole crew from UltiClip.
We have been using their products for the last couple of years and it was a great time finally being able to hook up with Doug and the rest of the crew from UltiClip.
We were able to look at their new UltiClip XL Clip and we can't wait to start banging out some new holsters with the new hardware.

Lastly we really need to thank two ladies who worked really hard on the first ever NRA Carry Guard Expo and Fashion Show.
The first of the two Amanda's (as we called them), is Amanda Suffecool. (seen here with Marie).
Amanda is the host of the Eye on the Target Radio Show, www.eyeonthetargetradio.com, a Q&A call in talk show about Shooting Sports on the popular WNIR 100.1FM and WNIR.com Kent/Akron.
Amanda is also the Director of the non-profit firearms education group REALIZE firearms awareness coalition that focuses on firearms education. www.REALIZEfac.com.
Amanda was the catalyst for Wicked Holsters participating in the Expo when she called us in late July and told about the event. We are so happy to have worked with her and glad that she reached out to us. Check her radio show out and follow all of the issues related to the shooting community and future NRA Carry Guard Events.

The other person we really need to thank is the other Amanda, Amanda Gauldin (seen here with Marie). Amanda is the NRA Project Administrator for Shows and Exhibits.
Amanda and her crew worked tirelessly to make this first ever NRA Carry Guard Expo a complete success.
Amanda was one of the first people we spoke with when we arrived at the event and she had "all" the answers to any of our "many" questions.
We are really looking forward to working with Amanda and the NRA in the future and can't wait to hear where the second NRA Carry Guard Expo is going to be held.

It would be really hard not to mention that, yes the Wicked Holsters Crew was actually able to squeeze in some sightseeing while in Milwaukee. It was truly appropriate to visit a brewery, so we took the Lakefront Brewery Tour.
If you are ever in Milwaukee, "Do Not" miss the Lakefront Brewery Tour. You will truly enjoy the humor of the tour guides and enjoy the fine beers on tap....We did...

In wrapping this up, we had a great time in Milwaukee and we are really looking forward to getting all of the orders out to everyone who bought our holsters.
As NRA Instructors, Josh and I were both impressed with the list of heavy hitters the NRA put together for the Seminars that ran all three days of the event.
We look forward to speaking with everyone of the companies we met with about helping them out by providing them we custom holster options.
Wicked Holsters.............OUT!
